Yes. Unfortunately it probably has a one-piece shaft so you will have to take it apart enough to remove the pinion gear and slide the shaft out.<br /><br />Good luck!
FYI<<br /><br />I actually found a kit that extended a 20 " evinrude to a 25"...looks funny but was a heck of a lot cheaper than a new motor...easy to install and works too! been a couple of years trouble free...it utilizes extensions for the shaft/shift cable/ and exhaust housing
