Hi, PW2.

What suggests?

Loaded with insulting language and the general "hate Republican" rhetoric.

Well, what else does one expect from a UW student? They often make the commies appear conservative.

Well, JB, it doesn't take a leftist to be disgusted at the radical right in this country.

Get the pol's out of the way and we can end this in victory...

The Donks have already stated they intend to exercise more oversight over the White House and the war. Bush will likely tell 'em to pound sand, but after that all bets are off.

I thought then, and I still do, that Iraq is a no-win "war". These fanatics have been fighting the infidel and each other for a thousand years, all are convinced there is but one God, and he's on their side. Sorry, some things just can't be "won", and I believe this is one of 'em.

Democrats are set to subpoena

The new majority is expected to hold hearings on military spending and the Iraq war -- just for starters.

The panel was disbanded by the Republicans after they won control of Congress in 1994. Now, Skelton (D-Mo.) intends to use it as a forum to probe Pentagon spending and the Bush administration's conduct of the Iraq war.

It has been 12 years since Democrats were in control of both the House and Senate. But they are looking to make up for lost time, and in some cases, make the Bush administration and its business allies sweat.

The agenda is likely to be dominated by the Iraq war, but could include probes into the Bush administration's warrantless surveillance, environmental policies and new prescription-drug program for seniors. Industries, such as oil companies, could also come under closer scrutiny.

I wonder if they will probe their own involvement in the war?....... Naaaa, no Democrats voted to go to war, just ask them.

Whoever the next president is (rep or dem) will appear to be a genius after the present dummy is gone. Sad part is he is coming back to Texas (home being built in Dallas). His daddy may bet them to give him back his 2% interest in Rangers so he can act like a big deal.

I dunno.. At the rate the country is going, we may end up with a dumbocrat president that isn't smart enough to keep from boinkin his subordinates in the oval office.

whatta genius THAT clown was!

There have been roughly 50,000 American casualties of this war, of which nearly 3,000 have been fatal.

Well if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck.....

At least I am not to lame to answer questions or offer solutions to problems other than it's President Bush's fault.

What color is that stripe on your back?

As for Powell, good military man, not a politician.

What op-ed? Where was this published? Just another babbling liberal trying to impress others with 25 cent words to point out something any idiot could have deduced. Nice opportunity in inject the hate instilled in him by his communist brainwashers at the UW though.

What insight was shared that not everyone here didn't already know. Why not run suggest that we have a Democrat run as a Republican, while having a Socialist/Communist run as a Democrat in 2008. Not a bad ploy for a young mind full of mush to attain their liberal goals .
