I have a 1980 Evinrude 150. After reviewing the SELOC manual and checking on virtually every part on the motor and from what I can tell it specs out to be identical to the 175 and 200 horse engines for the same year. I checked every thing from the coils, power pack, cylinders, bore, stroke, spark plugs compression, crank, fuel pump, stator, rectifier, maximum cylinder height, minimum cylinder height, etc. I have heard that the exhuast manifold and the carbs is the only difference, but I can't find anything that would indicate they are diffent either. All three of the engines are 149 cubic inches and the all of the engine specs/parts have the same part numbers. I cannot find any detailed information on the carburators, but I don't know what effect the carb jets would have. Someone please enlighten me on the differences between the 150 and the 200 motor.

Thanks
