What are you guys getting up to? It's 3pm and is 97 with a heat index of 108. In the shade I can hardly take it. In the sun, impossible.

It say 102 here but feels like 99. I would tend to disagree, it feels every bit of 102. My handy weather station at home is reading 103.6 and it is very much in the shade. I think I will stay inside where it is a cozy 68.

Tomorrow they are forecasting 106 and I have to wear a suit

Now it's 4:08pm and the temp is 99, with the heat index still at 108. I think my blood is now boiling.

I'm outside working on something but I can't tell you what yet. You'll see before and after photos and I hope you'll be impressed!

Nope! been fishing the last two days in the 80's and I actually wore a hoodie this morning til about 9.

9:17pm and its 73.3 degree and the humidity is at 72 percent.
Heat index ? 75

We are running a beautiful steady 75? F...which is about 23?C....in Canadian. which means no a/c....just nice temp all around.
That kind of heat would cook us northern boys......sort of like the way the cooler norther/winter temps shuts down the southern guys.
Regardless....do your best to get out and enjoy it...either way!!!

We touched 100 degrees today around 5pm. That's the hottest I can ever remember it feeling outside. I was outside about 10 minutes and it looked like I'd been sprayed with the hose.

8:55 AM and the temp is 68.5*. Supposed to get up to about 80* today.

Saturday is was super hot! We did a poker run on the river and didn't make the 5th stop... it was too hot to be in the boat. I stayed in the water all afternoon.

Sunday, it was over-cast and foggy in the a.m. Perfect for boating!!

Looking forward to hot day of 104 with a heat index of 110.

Saturday and Sunday heat index got up to 113 and 114.

Where was I one the hottest day of the year?? Oh yes, playing in a fastpitch softball tournament in the losers bracket.

Heat index tomorrow afternoon is supposed to be 116 in Memphis. The tv and radio are non stop w/the warnings. Last time it was this hot there were a lot of deaths, nearly all were elderly in impoverished neighborhoods trying to make it w/a box fan or two.

We all need to remember to check in on folks like that when the weather's this bad.

Heat, that's one thing....high humidity, can do without
84 degrees here right now{almost 6 pm} sticky sticky sticky, Need to wring out the clothes before going inside

Tell you this put 15 lbs. ice in chest this moring at 10:00 went to get a gator aid at 12:00 it was slush this afternoon at 4:30 :redface:it was just about all water. guess I need a freezer you can plug into a lighter in a pickup truck.
