Look what's happening in Vegas.
Should I consider starting the winterization of said boat?
Really doubtful but it sure does look like Iowa, that I left 24 years ago.
It finally found me and followed me here.

Man it's coming down!
Two bad it couldn't have happened next week!

How's it look at your end QC? RAIN? and more RAIN?

Well, once in a few I guess.....Winter Wonderland.

Yes, you must winterize!

JB reccommends a good single malt for winterizing purposes!

Just worried about the SNOW loading on the boat cover.....:p

If it starts to freeze up a small campfire at the far corner of the yard should fix it!:D

You are just south of Area 51 and maybe that really is not snow....... maybe it is alien space dust!

Hey Pierutus

I'm curious as to why you park your boat under that metal pipe frame work. Does it have an invisible force field or something? ;)

Actually the cover blew off/ripped to shreds a day before the snow fell. It was windy ahead of the storm front.
It had been up since last April and you know what the Vegas sun can do to stuff. Probably a good thing it did too because I don't think it could of handled the weight of 8" of snow.

I feel sorry for you guy's up in the Pacific Northwest (that's where this storm came from), you guy's are getting hammered.

Here is what was left of said snowman 5 day's later.

Re: Is it time to winterize?

Hey Pier ooh truce . . .

Missed the follow up. I was just checking temps in Havasu. Where my boat is stored the low over the last year is 32.9F, so I'm with you . . . we're fine.

Magic spot? You'll just keep me guessing forever cuz there is no magic spot :p :p :D

(This space is invisible to Pier, that should do it. I expect that the Lat and Long will be posted any minute . . . ;) )
