I swapped the powerhead on my old chrysler 35 with one from a 55 and have been having problems trying to get it running. See my other post for details http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=337805
So I've got spark, fuel delivery is not an issue and I believe it's timed and synchronized properly yet it won't fire. I finally found my compression gauge and the result is 110 upper, 120 lower. Seems kinda low to me and I would definitely like to see those numbers a little closer together, but do you think that it's too low or should it still be able to start with that kind of compression?
