Is my fuel pump failing?

I see air bubbles in the clear filter I have installed & engine stumbles badly above 4000 rpm & then also as rpm is lowered 60 hp 3 cyl 1992 2 stroke

Air bubbles in the fuel is pretty normal so that doesn't indicate the fuel pump is failing. If you have a primer bulb on your fuel line you can also confirm this by simply squeezing the bulb or priming in any way, when the motor stumbles, and if it revives when you do that you know you have a fuel pumping problem that may or may not be the fuel pump.

Thanks I plan to test with the bulb tomorrow I will also check the oil feed connection is properly sealed as It is disconnected since I feel it failed & caused a seizure which I rebuilt .
