I use the priming bulb on my fuel line to keep the pressure on the fuel supply and it runs fine. If I just pressure the line at first and the run the motor she will run for 30 sec roughly and stall. When I check the bulb all the pressure is gone. Pressuize it and she starts again.

Do I need ro rebuild my fuel pump:confused::confused:

Maybe, but make sure that the gasket between the pump and the engine is in good condition and airtight, and that there are no air leaks between the primer bulb and the carburetor, In other words, if gas leaks out at all when you squeeze the primer bulb, air will get in the same way when the engine is running.

You should not be able to empty the float bowl in 30 seconds though.

Once the engine is running, the primer bulb should lose tension and just be part of the fuel line. It should not collapse though which would indicate that the vent is closed or that there is an obstruction in the line before the primer bulb.

The fuel pump and the primer bulb are there to keep the carburetor's float bowl full so that the engine can pull the fuel from the bowl through the carburetor.

Anyway, make sure that the arrow on the primer bulb is pointing towards the engine, and check the screen in the fuel pump.

Disconnect fuel lint to carbs, rune feed line into a container and turn motor over and see if fuel is being pumped to the carbs. Did this with mine and found that it started pumping O.K. then faded right away after a few rotations. Replaced pimp and all was well.
