My prop is a little chewed up, by the looks of the pic of the condition, is it having a major effect on my gas consumption and speed?

More importantly, it could cause damage to the propshaft and seals in the lower unit.

I've see worse for wear but that looks a little chewed. PropScan will fix it right up! Per cost though it might be better to replace it with a new prop. Stay with AL since it's more forgiving than SS if you strike something. Composites cost less but tend to break easily but they do make for a good backup if you damage your main prop. I use several Vortex props so I can easily switch out if I need more punch for the hole shot or when I am hauling more arse than usual. I keep three onboard ranging from 10 to 15 pitch. The hub cost $25 at Overton's and the props are just under $70 each.
