Is my skeg damaged

new to boating and notice my skeg is kind of scraped and showing some yellow on it. The engine is a 96 m90a. Is this normally and solely cosmetic or should I worry about it? Pics are enclosed.

Looks fine, but look at it dead on and see if it is straight. If it is then just slop some paint on it some time - or don't. It really doesn't matter in fresh water.

Would not even worry about it, cosmetic damage is easy to fix, just make sure the skeg is straight and you are good to go.

I don’t care about cosmetic hahaha it’s a 98 and in salt water. Fishing machine.....
