Is my vessel name going to cause me problems with my MMSI

So after a long debate and discussion, I have decided to name my boat #holdmybeer

It's a bit trendy, but for a lot of reasons is really fitting. I have yet to register my MMSI (my radio is currently sitting 500 miles away on my porch as I am out of town).

Does anyone see any issues getting this registered for my MMSI or any other? I'm not worried about USCG or LEO issues - I'm on the up and up with my safety equipment and don't do anything illegal on my boat.

Yes I believe so, just like car plates, documented boats and any other thing that the state or federal government has a say, things like that are not allowed.

It let me register my MMSI with no issue a few minutes ago. I guess I'll have to see if anything comes up.

Time will tell, look forward to seeing if there were no issues.

If it works guess others will try more risky ones

The FCC could care less what vessel name you put on your MMSI registration.

If they don't have a problem with Muff Diver, Wet Spot or Bone Doctor, they could care less about "hold my beer" especially since a number of States, mine included, don't have open container laws for boats. cheers ;)
