I am not sure you need pistons at all. You will find a new set wil show a lot of clearance at the top, scares most automotive people. I do following: If you have a new ring, oil it a bit and put it in cylinder. Push it 1/2" down with the piston skirt, you now know its sitting correct. Measure ring gap, and repeat 4 places down bores. If thats within spec, I bet you can reuse both bores and pistons, probably rings too, but new wont harm, only improve persormance, Just remember to hone cylinders to a cross pattern surface, if you decide to change rings. At first sight the piston to wall clearance always looks scary on older crossflows.
