Is there a better way...

to strap transom savers to the trailer frame besides using a short rubber bungee cord, and...
to clamp cable-over-pulley steering cables taught besides using the small rectangular cable clamps found in the big box stores?
Pulled all the hardware off my boat to get it ready for topside paint and when I finished these two questions came to mind. Any input is welcome.

i have 2 set-ups one with a bolt on and removeable pin and one that is roller mount

did your trailer mount not come with a bolt on bracket?

Yup, it did...just looking for a secure strap method to keep from installing anything else to the trailer frame...hard on the back. Thanks for your input.
