I am looking to replace a burnt piston, and I have found two companies that make pistons for my 1990 40HP Johnson. Pro and Wysco. Any ideas of the quality of these products or suggestions for others? Any suggestions on where to purchase on line with these or other companies?
Thanks.

Both are very good. The Pro is a cast and the Wiseco is a forged piston.

Good luck!

I PREFER THE WISECO .I HAVE REBUILT ALOT OF MOTORS AND USED WISECO IN MOST AND OEM IN THE REST .NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE WISECO'S. PRO MAY BE GOOD AS WELL BUT I HAVE NEVER USED ONE.
