I have disconnected the pump squezzer from the fuel pump I have noticed that when I prime the bulb and let the gas come to the top it goes down fast into the tank? Could there be a ball valve that should only let gas come up not down.

See my questions from your previous post..

There is a check valve in the bulb that should keep the fuel from flowing back. There is also an anti siphon valve that is usually the male piece of the Force quick connect fittings.

Had a problem with my 200 johnson....at high rpm the hot alarm would go off. Discovered that the anti-siphon valve located on top of the tank where the fuel line attaches went bad....paid 3 bucks for a new valve and never had the problem again.....give it a shot.....its a quick and easy fix..unless it dosent fix your problem, then its only a very small waste of money, but good piece of mind. The hot alarm went off due to heat build up due to the engine needing to sucj harder for less fuel (or so I was told)....let me know what happens....
