Between this forum, the senior members of this forum, and self education, I've learned enough to know that I don't know enough. Is there a good outboard motor school I can look into? I've built 2 v 8's, and a Jeep I-6 from scratch, and fix whatever gets broke around here. Throwing parts at a problem can get real expensive, especially with the prices of some outboard parts. (The reverse gear on my little 35 goes for about 250, new. I learned from an experienced hand that the oil pump on an electric shift '71 60hp I was tempted to buy fetches about 600.) In this game, it looks like correct diagnosis is everything. Is this the last of hard knocks schools? Or is there a technically oriented training program I can look into? Once again, I appreciate your input. KR
