Its pointless to argue... I looked for a boat for four months and didnt find any boat at this price ( even with the extra $500) that was in this good of shape. The boat is immaculate besides the current problem I'm having. I know most of you dont agree with me but thats fine.

Geez...rough crowd...He took a gamble and lost (for now). Keep us posted on any progress with the dealer...Don't wait.

Well I talked to the dealer and they said that they would find out what the problem is, but not pay for it.

bsh21, you seem like a very level-headed guy, and I see your point on sticking with a deal if the price was right. Hey, I did the same thing and just spent weeks replacing the floor on my "new to me" boat! Still happy with the purchase, and you likely will be also once you get it fixed. Sounds like it was a chance happening. Maybe the dealer checking it out for you is the best you'll get out of him, but it won't hurt to try again once it's known what the problem is. Maybe even a reduced rate for the labor or something.
