I have a 96 Mariner 125 elpto that's having alarm module issues. I don't want to shell out $200 for a new one. I have a constant beep with both the temp and oil sensor disco. So I'm thinking about bypassing the oil injection and installing a temp gauge. My oil injection works but my luck that sensor is bad also and I don't really trust it anyway.
So the million dollar question is what sensor to order for this plug?
And one more thing. Since I'm not going to need the alarm anymore would it hurt anything to use the wire that runs to the helm for my temp gauge?
