I'm thinking about buying this trailer for 1,979 out the door with tax, title, registration, and DOC fee included. My current trailer is a 1976 clunker so I looks like trailers really last. It has a one year warranty from the manufacturer.

Limited Warranty

Genesis Trailers hereby guarantees the workmanship of all galvanized trailers for a period of 1 year under normal use. Any part found to be defective upon examination when such part is returned to Genesis Trailers will be replaced. In no event shall Genesis Trailers be liable for loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, or other incidental damage or loss. In addition, all transportation cost associated with warranty issues will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Tires are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, and all claims for adjustment should be made through the nearest representative of the tire manufacturer. The construction of galvanized frames is warranted for structural defects under normal use for a period of 5 years. If trailer is registered with Genesis Trailers within 45 days of purchase, the structural warranty is extended by (1) one year. Transportation cost to and from the factory or dealer for any warranty issue shall be the responsibility of the purchaser.

What do you guys think? Thanks

Standard warranty terms for the industry.

Don't know your market.

In other words, the warranty means little to nothing, so look at the quality is the build and assembly. What weight is the trailer rated for and how much weight will you actually be hauling ? What size wheels and tires and the load rating ? Is the trailer galvanized or just painted silver ?

Probably not bad. I paid $1500 - $1600 through a local G3 dealer for a new trailer to haul my 17.5’ G3 10-12 years ago. The other local G3 dealer wanted $2500 for the same trailer. No title or registration on small trailers here.
