I am probably picking up a 1989 Larson Hampton 22' Cruiser with a 165HP Mercruiser, And i think the outdrive is a Alpha 1... Is this a good motor/boat?<br /><br />Thanks!
Owner is a good friend of mine, he says its a Mercruiser 5.0L V8.... The NADA guide for the boat says it was a 165HP. That may be wrong... he says the motor is either 305 or 350 ci.
My buddy has a 1990 22 Hampton and he has a 350 Merc with 250 hp. He runs a 15 pitch prop and it performs pretty well. Biggest 22' I have ever been on.
