Is this amount of water spraying up normal operation for a Force 125?

The prop is really spraying up a good bit of water. Is this normal? I have some sort of fin above the prop that looks aftermarket FWIW. I think this is normal but just wanted to run it by some other boaters.

That spray is caused by the prop at high speed usually called the, "Rooster tail". Depending on the trim settings and load, it can go higher or lower. And yes, that looks normal.

Post pics of the transom and the prop and cavitation plate.
You have a jack plate or any lift on the motor?

Is the cavitation plate even with the hull?
PICS!!!

Seems a bit much. I had to adjust my depth sounder as it was sitting a bit to far under the hull and caused spray.
Moved it up so that it was level with the hull and that reduced the spray a lot.
Check to see if you have any thing mounted below the bottom of the hull.
I still get a distinct spray from the transducer . I can see it if I look while some one is driving.
Also a lot of spray if the ladder is down.
And as stated . Motor angel will also cause a great amount of spray depending on how it is trimmed.
