Hi guys I just picked up a new to me 03 90hp mercury that came with this control box. The controls came of a side mount console and I'm trying to figure out if it is reversable so that I can mount it to the right side of my center console. I have read on here that some are easy to reverse and I pulled the bolt holding the throttle on but there is a wire for tilt and trim. Is it possible to swap this and if so how exactly should i go about it?

cwlson, why do you think it is reversed? It looks setup to fit a right-hand side mount in the pictures. So what make you think it is reverse setup? IDK. The usual forward throw of the handle makes the engine go into forward and also controls the throttle. And of course moving rearward past the neutral stop make the engine go in reverse and controls the engine throttle as well. So if the control does those things presently, then it is okay for a right-hand mount. :noidea:

The throttle lever itself needs to be swapped to the other side of the box. It was mounted on the right side of the boat it was on but now I'm mounting it to right side of my sender console which requires mounting it opposite of what it was

I don't know if that makes sense. Essentially what I am doing is moving the whole control from one side of the boat to the other

I understand look to see if the holes are there to move the white plastic piece you will need to move that to.. I can't tell from your pic if the holes are there. It looks like the high idle lever is inset so if the holes are there you will be good to go.

It looks like there are holes there for the white plastic piece but I still don't know what to do about the wire

I tried to get a better picture of the wire the red arrow is pointing to it. I don't have a spot on the other side for it to go through
