Now that my motor is running on all cylinders, I think it's about time that I decarb it. I've been reading tons of threads on the subject, but want to be sure that how I plan to decarb it...is acceptable.
Going to warm the motor up on muffs. Then I'm going to mix up a gallon of premix and 3/4 bottle of seafoam in a standard plastic gas tank(I don't have an extra fuel tank and my present fuel tank has a lot of gas in it).
Can I just disconnect the line from my portable fuel tank and put it in the gas can(and have the motor draw the seafoam mix from the can?).
Gonna run the seafoam mix for 10 mins or so(depending on smoke output). Then I'm going to heavily spray straight Seafoam into the cylinder holes, manually rotate the flywheel a few times... and let it sit for a day or 2. Then I'm going to run more of the seafoam mix(in the one gallon can) for another 10 mins or so.
Problem is that I may NOT being able to run the motor WOT for a few days (or maybe even a week or even much longer in the worst case scenario). Will this cause me any problems?
