Just bought a 1993 Wellcraft 18' with a Mercruiser 3 liter, it came with a 13 3/4" x 19P prop, boat weighs about 2100lb, haven't had a chancec to take it out yet. Is this prop in the ball park?

wing,<br /><br />Just my guess, but I would say you're going to be overpropped.<br /><br />The engine should run at WOT, with a light load, up to 4600 rpm.

For Comparison, I have a 17ft Sea Ray that weighs in sbout 1900 plus fuel and gear. I run with a 3.0l Alpha 1 config.<br /><br />I currently run a 19p prop and with myself and three people it jumps out of the hole. I feel I could easily go to a 21p. On yours, depending on the hull, as mine is fairly flat, 19p may just be right..
