In game 3 of the NBA champ series "Shaq" O'Neal (Miami Heat) gave Jerry Stackhouse (Dallas Mavericks) an elbow to the face while he was shooting and broke his nose. The Stack played on after treatment and a couple of foul shots but was greatly reduced in effectiveness. The Heat won the game by 2 points to cut the Mavericks lead to 2-1.

In game 4 Stackhouse fouled Shack deliberately to stop a layup. No harm. O'Neal played on after a couple of foul shots. The Heat won the game by a large margin.

Today, the NBA fined Stackhouse and suspended him from the critical game 5, potentailly crippling the Mavericks and almost handing a 3 to 2 advantage to Miami.

Is there some skullduggery afoot here, or am I just biased?
