Hello again errbody
Some of you already know my pontoon engine is done so Im looking at getting something else to get me on the water for now.
That said, Im looking to see if this is a good deal https://cfl.craigslist.org/boa/d/okeechobee-16-sylvan-fish/7343166764.html
Im trying to find something that is close to water ready as possible with a decent price, but I know that repair is always inevitable. So concerns are parts for the engine and anything else to look for.

I have a 50HP Mercury on my 16 ft Starcraft Kingfisher and it's quite adequate. I'd expect the 45HP Mariner to be okay, even if not a speed demon. Wouldn't surprise me if it could go 25-30MPH.

I had that same hull with a 3 cylinder 50 yamaha and it ran ok. the 45 shouId be no problem. have always thought that hull was made for the OMC 3 cylinder 70.

Much appreciated
25+mph would be more than enough for me.
But do you guys think 3 adults is too many? Would it be too unstable? Slow?

Looks decent to me. I don’t know about engines but the hulls are damned near indestructible and everything inside that Rita is easily replaced

I see that the listing has been deleted. Did you buy it?
