Happy New Year to all in this forum.
I have a Mariner 20 hp manual start with tiller steering. I want to know if the removable plate on the bottom right side is for converting it to remote.
If so where might I find the equipment to make the conversion?

Any Merc/Mariner dealer can sell you a remote kit for those engines.
