after taking my riser off to pressure test it i ordered a new gasket from my local boat shop. the OEM part number is 27-860233. But i got a sierra part number 18-0897. when i did a cross reference i did not get the original OEM part number to my sierra part number.

Also my OEM riser looks like a metal flange, this one is like a composite thicker material. Does this matter??

Also whats the difference between restriced flow gaskets and non???

what are there applications??

Thanks guys

Re-read the service bulletin I posted above. It covers both of those questions.
Just to ad about gasket surfaces, they must ALWAYS be clean and flat. Otherwise they will not work with or without a gasket.
