Is YDIS like mercury vessel view?

My last boat had a 115 mercury and I installed vessel view mobile that connected to my phone via Bluetooth. It worked out great for my needs. Now that I uave a yamaha I was wondering if there was something similar. Saw that you can buy a YDIS Bluetooth dongle. Curious if anybody has done this?

It is no as in YDIS is not like Vessel View.

From what little I know about Vessel View it is like Yamaha's Command Link. Something the operator uses.

YDIS is for a technician that is trouble shooting a problem in a motor.
