Man, sorry to hear about the vent loss. Those little parts are the ones that kill. I just spent $30 on two transom bolts. I think owning a boat paint a huge 'I'll pay triple for anything you have' on our foreheads. And it's true!

wow, i just had to replace a screw on one of my vents today because it almost fell off before i took it out. sure glad it didn't lol.

the downside is in rough weather it lets cold water in when you are trying to stay warm and dry. theres been a few times i wished they were blocked off. Theres alot of boats out there that dont have them.

Update: Last I saw these little side vents sold for well over 100 bucks. Check yours to make sure they are snug!
