LOL..Now you are really reaching! Structural sections that use foam are relatively small. Nothing compared to the volume of foam that would be used as floatation.

So when foam is used for structural support of the deck it only supports a small section of the deck?

All the foam in the boat could be structural.

Consider the Boston Whalers.
A thin Fiberglass shell backed with Foam for STRUCTURE.
Without the foam the boat would never stay together.

The engineers put it in there for Structure.
The "UnSinkable" feature came as an afterthought from the marketing people.

Re: It feels like the stern is sinking.

I just would like the deck to be level while anchored.

By the way, can anyone give me any advice for where I can get better educated on stringers, foam, structural foam and how to slide the boyant foam from the bow to the stern? Nevermind, 3 of 4 covered here. :D

Not sure why, but I have joined alot of forums and this is the only one that is fun while being informative. :)

The best place to learn about your boat is probably from a brochure for you boat, MFGs like to brag about how good of a job they did building it.
Taking into the consideration of the weight at the stern, add forward momentum + torque and add in water displacement.

That's why the rear drops and the bow rises.

I kinda doubt any foam used for structure in the deck has water in it.

Kind of doubt a 25' boat has any foam in it.

My 29' Cruisers Inc was noted as having floatation foam and that it would not sink should it take on water. In my digging through her, I found areas in the stern with foam throughout.

Note the white bottom paint is the waterline on my old boat. If had BBC with BravoIII outdrive-12 gal. hot water heater , plus freshwater tank and gen set. it was stern heavy. It is typical with this type of boat , especiallyy with add ons in the engine compartment.

under power the higher the bow rises the lower the stern gets. You can feel the bow rise.
