I posted a week or so back about my merc 80 800. I was absolutly dumbfounded on this. I decided to take the boat in to a local shop who charges $85 to take a gander at it. They found that a wire looked bad inside the "power pack" and just fixed it for me. we took the boat out over the weekend and low and behold.... We ran it all day, no problems. Bottom line, i paid 500 for a near mint classic boat, motor and trailer. Paid $85 to have it fixed and now i have a $2000 boat. Thanks for al the help and trouble shooting guys.
