Well,
I started my new job 2 weeks ago.
I officially retired from the Air Force six days ago.
I got to get into my new house, our first one as owner, last night.

Things are finally brightening up.

KB, I wish it was complet retirement. Unfortunately, I still have to work at a job for another 20 or more years.

I will definitely enjoy being back up in AK though!!!

Chappy, welcome to my world. Did the same thing in 93........ you are going to miss many of the things you had been comfortable with.

Fellow civilians are not as reliable as fellow military personnel. It will not take long to see it....... just don't let it frustrate you. There are certainly things you will have to adapt to.

We just bought a house in Wasilla.
I currently work in Anchorage, about 45 miles away. But we are going to relocate to Palmer, about 25 miles away.
