I don't get down here much but I know you folks will feel my pain and know my angst.

When I was looking for SC they were few and far between. I don't know what has happened this spring but as of right now at this very moment there are 10 tin and one FG SC on CL just in the local listings. If I scroll down into the near by (2 hour drive tops) there are another 20, with 3/4 being tinnies. Everywhere from an Islander down to a Kingfisher.

I know I don't need another boat let alone a project thus I've maintained control but with so many choices it's really hard to stave off increasing MBS.

Ok sorry just had to vent a bit.

I drove across 3 states to grab mine. After she was home dozens popped up, some just up the road.

And I'm still looking just about every day just in case an irresistible tinny shows up.

The SS16 I picked up was the first Starcraft I had ever really noticed, but now it seems as they are everywhere. I have found my next project boat, a chieftan, that has sitting in my brothers neighbors barn for the last 20 years... Barn find!

My big problem is finding boats that seem like they would serve me better than what I already have (grass is always greener). After a while of pondering, I always come back to my boat being perfect for what I need.

I am always looking for my next one, and I want the 25fter to top it off. And I think ill even do outboards on it. maybe, or alot of HP in the indboard. Just need to move and get out of this HOA first.

I always come back to my boat being perfect for what I need.

That's what I need the voice of reason, just..... need........ to finish the Jet so I'll quit looking for parts (50hp with TNT) then I can swear off looking at CL.

Now we're getting somewhere hold out for my holy grail an I/O Mariner CC not sure if they even made one but that's why I figure I'll have to build it.

I know what you mean. My son wants to sell the 1996 SC his grandpa bought new, and that my family has had a lot of great times with. Now it's in my driveway waiting for him to get it ready for selling - so I have to think about it every day/night. Now I see it on CL, so I gave him an offer. He's probably right, what would I do with it? We have 7 other boats - but is that enough?
