Are there any websites for bartering boat/marine related items (electronics, audio, parts, etc)? Maybe something with postings local to where we live (central Florida)...
ok What are you looking for? if you are specific as to what you need someone here is likely to have it or know where you can get it, be careful though you can ask if anyone knows where to get graphics for a 1995 searay 190 and your fine but if you offer to trade something for those graphics you will be in violation of site rules..
Well as of right now we are looking for tunes (head unit and speakers). Husband is on VA disability so money is tight. And I did see where someone "got in trouble" a couple weeks ago on here for trying to barter or sell something... I got the message
ok so you are looking for a stereo system and you need one on the cheap because money is tight right? I still think that your best bet is Craigslist, electronics section, but I know that you can get stereo's at the goodwill if they are in your area as well, others will soon chime in with more suggestions...
Yep... been checking electronics on CL and have hit the local Goodwills a couple times a week. I'm starting to think people really hold on to just about anything marine/boat related... except the boat itself :/

yeah I hear ya, if you were in any other state I would say don't worry about a marine grade stereo but with the humidity and salt water I would certainly want marine grade electronics as well
