Sorry to say me and the wife didn't come close to the 640+ million dollar Mega jackpot.......best I could do was two numbers on any group...On the bright side I won't have to worry about the hundreds of new relatives and friends I would have found. Still......that idea of a large boat and ocean front property was a nice dream....
Anyone get close???

I worked with a draftsman 20 yrs ago who never participated in the company lottery pool. His name is David O'Connor and he stands about 6'5" and an easy 300lb. He was a brilliant, simple Irishman who enjoyed a Friday happy hour with me more times than not. As we tipped back his favorite choice of Bushmill shooters chased by a small draft beer, I asked him one time why he didn't participate in the lottery pool. His words stick with me two decades later. He stared me in the eye and said "no offense to you Rich, cause I know you are a bright guy, but all of that lottery shannanigans is just the governments way of taxing the not so bright amongst us who can't calculate odds".

Yup, wasted another 5 bucks this week Davey!!

Only difference between today and other days "after the drawing", is I am out 5.00.

EXACTLY! I was trying to decide what color I wanted my 115' Pershing to be - plus I couldn't decide between the twin 3700hp diesel / water jets or the gas turbines. Hmm.
