Absolutely, if you have something that gets you on the water to do what you want to do on it, then more power to you. I have a friend that has to use a very lightweight boat so he can even go out on the lake by himself because his disability won't allow him to use anything bigger without someones help.

I had a 1981 Chaparral 198c that I traded my Ninja for but it was too much of a project plus it was too big for my Jeep to pull so I sold it for $2600.00, bought this small boat & pocketed $2000.00. The guy I sold it to had it on the water within a week. Now he's my fishing buddy so I get to visit my old boat anytime I want. My small boat is for a horsepower restricted lake we have close to where I live (Our local water supply). I'll be in the market for a nice used center console around tax time then I'll be back on the big water!

nothing wrong with puddle jumpers though. I have a 14ft Blue Fin fishing boat my dad gave me when he moved to Texas and then my project boat. I have no plans to get rid of the little one once the big one is done, since it is easy to launch and retrieve, and I can get it into just about anywhere on a lake, where I won't be able to with the 'tron.

Was able to get this pic while on my buddys jet ski, only pic i have of it on the water while not being on the boat lol

Replaced all the seats this spring and gave it a GOOD cleaning.

Hi, Im new to the forums but heres some pics of my boats.

And just bought this boat this weekend, 1988 Dyna Trak 17.6 SS with a 88 Johnson. This boat needs alot of cleaning and going to redo the carpet/seats, but is solid as a rock and the motor runs strong. The guy who owned it before me did not belive in soap and wax apparently. But she will be looking good for next season.

1985 Sun Runner 220SB. Just bought it at the end of Oct. for $1500. A little elbow grease and $220 in parts and I was on the lake. Runs flawless and GPS'd at 41mph last weekend. Some new upholstery in the works now.
