Just read the post on installing a tell tale, can I also add a tee to run a pressure gauge?

??????????????
When I was a boy, a tell tale was a piece of mom's yarn tied to the standing rigging.

Yes, you can tee the line for a pressure gauge.

yes......although it would probably read better if you it had its own port.

i would at least run the straight part of the "t" to the gauge and the sideways out put to the tell tale...........it seems ive read people having trouble with the water gauge not reading unless you do it this way-----------the gauge has back pressure and the hole obviously dont

Thanks, I would think that the gauge would be more accurate with it being intalled by it self. Do you think there is any benefit to having a fitting installed on both sides of a V4?

Water jacket pressure is water jacket pressure whether it comes from a tube or another part of the block. The overboard indicator nipple is quite a bit smaller than the tube and keeps the pressure from bleeding off too much. I don't think you'll find much benefit from the extra effort.

99% of add on gauges are tee off the tale tell. it is just an indicator, get your first readings, as a base line. and from then on you are just watch for a change (drop in pressure) to indicate a problem.
