I just replaced the orings that go on the balance tube, but now I can't seem to get the balance tube back in. Are you supposed to grease or heat these when reinstalling? I'm afraid if I apply any more pressure I'm going to tear the orings or break the balance tube.

Thanks!

A little grease on the O.D. would be fine. No heat. Also make surenyou have the right orings. Were they in the kit? I dont recall those coming in the kit...factory kit?

They did not come in the carb kit. I purchased them separately from my omc dealer.

Yeah I put new bowls on. One was warped a lot, the others were warped a little.

I hit the o rings with a little oil. Still pretty tight, but went in easier because it was much warmer outside today.
