When I was 16 we bought what we were told was a 15 ft Chris Craft kit boat built by a workman from a local marina.It was bigger and wider ,beautiful runabout god I loved that boat absolutely nothing like it in our area.Fast, 26 with a 61 18 Evinrude This was over 6ft wide with a front deck big enough for a Greatdane to ride on with room to spare.Pushed hard enough it would drift through a corner like the big boys.Never had a wheel, allways a tiller,I'd slide wayback on the rear deck with the gas tank on the back seat.Only way to get the bow up.Bottom was a little weak under the center deck and I pushed it pretty hard ,had to have it repaired every summer.I sure miss the old beauty.
