Jasco Compact Manual Toilet

I have a Jasco or Jabsco Compact toliet that is a manual flush. the one that uses the T handle to pump the spewge out!

The little switch that changes the toilet from pumping water in to pumping out isn't working. The toilet still flushes but the water will back up some in the toilet.

Does anyone know if this is an easy fix or should I just buy a new tolielt? This is the 2nd one I've put in in 4 years and it's still in good shape.

Let me know if has any opinions on fixing it or not.
