Looking to upgrade from a 16' tin boat. I have a nearby dealer with a "new" 2000 Javelin Venom 18MX. We talked about matching it with a 2002 Ficht 135.<br /><br />This boat was represented as a multi-species boat. Similar features as a bass boat but deeper and more stable. Initial quote is $19200 and the dealer seems like he is willing to talk.<br /><br />Two questions:<br /><br />1) Is the boat as versatile as represented? I live in Minnesota and usually fish smaller lakes but would like the flexibility to fish big water as well.<br /><br />2) Is the purchase price reasonable? My searches of the internet classifieds haven't shown this boat listed. <br /><br />Thanks for any input. This my first time buying a boat this expensive.
