Re: JB

The boards have picked up a lot already, Bob.

Would you be interested in assembling the various formulae, including the Exel format and the slip calculations into one concise post for us to transfer?

You could put it in the Boat forum, where I will move this.

I am sure DHadley and the other contributors wouldn't object and I certainly wouldn't.

Thanks for your interest.

Re: JB

Just post it right here - JB has the "power" to put into any section. That would be a great help to most of the people who do an annual search for it.

Thanks,
Bob

Re: JB

Bob,

I am confused. Yes, I have a formula, but only for the final cell (speed calc). It isn't worth much if you don't plug in the other numbers into the same exact cell addy's that I used . . .

=SQRT(B1/B2)*B3

Re: JB

I just figured out that I can use it like a scale. Ya know to weigh my boat. Just keep changing the weight until you get the speed that your boat goes. Hmmmm . . . . If I knew the weight I could verify my hp. I know, it's a poor mans dyno . . . :D
