So Fisher is out as head coach of the Titans. Speculation is that it's over the firing of his defensive coordinator, Chuck Cecil, and not due to his dispute with Bud Adams (the owner) over Vince Young.

Whatever. He'll be working again as soon as he wants to. Meanwhile Adams can go looking for someone willing to coach Young. Hey Bud, I believe Josh McDaniels is available!

I understand that sometimes a change is needed just for sake of change - because people or ideas become stale. But I would keep Fisher, even if it's in a different position. I guess these two didn't get along well in recent years and that led to this. Talk about cutting off your nose....
