Very cool. Had to be a blast, if you can afford the fun!

Sasto has a few neighbors who do it every year. I think he said 5 of them go together. Must be a blast. Made me want to do it with my boat... Then I grew a brain!!! One day I'll get a bigger boat; no problem, then.:D

Hard to believe anyone would go on a trip like that without a spare prop for their outboard .....

Yup...actually safe and easy to do. My 82 year old bossman could do it. He rides quite often in rough weather. But, he is amazing.

My guys do it solo without a chase boat. They carry extra fuel on the stern. 5 foot waves to them is a rush, to me, it's a rush to the chiropractor.

Nice shots, nikon, thanks for sharing.

Very cool, but like Sasto says, a 3 hour ride on a large PWC is hardly a difficult thing to do. Now, do it on a stand-up, maybe. I've ridden a stand-up (with a chase boat) over 160 miles in a day.

Gotta love those pics of that turquoise water! Thanks for sharing that story. I've got to put that on my to-do list

Well.... I'm planning to eventujally do this I'm almost obsessed with it and considered moving to Florida. Who knows there's still time I may be in Florida living it up sooner than later.

Stop by sometime. I'm just across the big pond from the Bahamas. I can see it on a clear day.

I have been wanting to do this for several years now. We go to the keys several times a year and I just look out to the east and tell the wife "we could do it." She always says "yeah, right."
Maybe next spring when the seas are calmer. Getting to late in the year now.
I think my ole 23'er could do it...

Sure, did it once in a 18' Sea Pro center console, with a 90HP Merc. The locals here named her SASTO. Some are sicker than others. That was years ago. I guess it still sticks!

That is so cool! I'd love to do that! My Rinker 270 EC is on Lake Michigan, and I don't have a trailer for her, but we might have to rent a boat for this trip sometime soon.

I knew that, with patience, I would eventually learn...and now I know.
