Well lost my job yesterday, doing inside sales for electronic parts, prior to this worked for northrop/grumman for 15 yrs! any one looking for any help on southsore long island?
I feel your pain, been off work since late November...<br />But just a FYI, if you are allowed to get unemployment compensation, check into getting your claim from Massachusetts...They have certain stipualtions you ahve to meet, but there benefits are almost doubled what My states benefits are....Its alot of hassle to get it going, but worth it in the long run.
If you don't mind traveling, L3 Narda Microwave (Hauppauge) is looking for an international sales manager. Essentially selling microwave components. You need to be a road warrior for this job, that's why I'm not there.

Don't let it get you down if you have a hard time finding work. Reason I say that is I work for a forture 500 company and we still have a hiring freeze on. Even if someone leaves or retires, they cannot be replaced. So it may not be that you are not employable, it could be that lots of companies are still not hiring.<br /><br />Keep your contacts. A majority of jobs are taken by people who know someone on the inside.
