Thanks for the enthusiasm KFA4303.

I will take a video once I get back up there in a couple of weeks and post it here. Also, for anyone else who might come across this thread, here is a picture of what a clutch dog looks like new (to compare if you are wondering if yours needs replacing), and the seahorse logo (what a beauty).

Hi All,

Thanks again for the help. here is a video I uploaded to youtube of the motor working. I was by myself in the boat, so I could not open the throttle up fully since I would need another person in the front of the boat to weigh it down.

Congrats Ivan! Glad you got her running and on the water. You should be able to go WOT next time if you add some weight in the bow. I would also suggest a cheap little DIY tiller extender. It will let you sit, stand, shift your weight any where you want which should also help you go faster. I made mine out of PVC and a couple pipe clamps. It makes all the difference in the world and now I never use the motor without it. Best of all you can pop it off in 5 seconds.

Thanks for the help getting it going and the tip kfa4303. That is a good idea about the tiller extender, ill give it a try. I have to get to WOT so that I can complete the high speed needle adjustements as well.
