Spring time whoas. Ran great last Fall but I'm not getting gas to the carbs. Researched the pump and found a Part number of 0433387 and a Sierra replacement part number of 18-7532 but the engine rating is for 25 - 55 HP. Am I missing something here?

433387 is the part # ---now superceded to 438556----------Just order it as it is the correct part #---------------Very little goes wrong with these pumps and a new diaphragm is probably all you would need to order.-------Just IGNORE the bit about 25 to 55 hp !!!--------What is your motor doing / not doing that leads you to believe a fuel pump is the cure ?----Does it help if someone operates the manual pump ?

Racerone - Thanks for responding. You have responded to my previous postings and have never led me wrong - kudos!!
I started her up about a month ago and let here run for about 10 minutes. It stumbled and stalled in a ackward sounding fashion. I had ears on it and it was getting late in the neighborhood (kinda loud) so I didn't restart it at that time. I came back to it a couple weeks later and she wouldn't fire. Took the carb cover off and gave her some ether and she would fire for a couple seconds so I know I have spark. Pulled the quick connect and pumped the bulb while depressing the ball and nothing. Replaced the bulb and opened up the fuel water seperator and cleaned everything out. Got fuel at the quick connect (tasted terrible :)) but still wouldn't fire. Started going down stream which led to the fuel pump. Pulled the cap filter and got gas there. . .still no gas to the carbs. only thing left is the fuel pump??

When you operate the bulb it pushes fuel right through the pump.----When you prime the bulb with a drain plug removed from the carburetor bowl the fuel should pour out.------- does it ?.

I am working my way down stream and ran out of daylight before I got to the Carb bowl. I ordered a new fuel pump and will be installing it this weekend. I'll let you know when I get a chance to experiment more - Thank You!!

Going to replace the fuel pump regardless.

I've been having a problem over the years of the boat going from full plane on moment to complete stop and motor dying. There is an identical post on this forum but I haven't been able to correct the issue. Figured, I'd just replace the pump as it's only about $40.

From the reviews, the Sierra Fuel Pump 18-7352 appears to be a solid unit vs. the OEM - any experience?

The factory pumps are very reliable !!!----About the only thing that can go wrong is the diaphragm and that is available as a replacement part.-----Many of these pumps are replaced needlessly because folks are desperate in trying to avoid dealer shop rates !

New Fuel Pump, bunch of carb cleaner and she fired right up thanks for the assist.
Question, theres an air chuck on the forward and starboard side of the outboard that appears to be connected to a "C" battery sized selenoid. Attached to the air chuck stem is a red indicator arrow but there are no labels anywhere around (ie. open, closed, etc). Any ideas?

The red lever operates the solenoid valve manually.---Motor can be started with a rope in case of a dead battery.---The shreader valve ( air chuck ) is used to inject fogging oil for winterizing.----Red lever should be inline with valve body in order to run properly.
