I have a 92 115 x-flow with a crack in the fuel pump housing. Is it possible to substitute the older type pump without the VRO? The older pump is much cheaper ($46). Would I have to make any modifications or will it bolt up in place of the current pump?

433387 will work, look on block for the 2 screw holes and 1 pulse port, some of the pulse ports were blocked with stainless screw.

Re: Johnson 115 fuel pump question

I had a 1988 Evinrude 115 that I replaced the VRO fuel pump with the "older type" fuel pump that bolts right onto the case. The VRO's oiling system had already been disconnected. I had a fuel pump from a 1981 90hp Johnson that I used. It was nice having the Johnson's hard plastic "F" shaped manifold to connect all of the fuel lines. I would suggest getting this part while buying the fuel pump. Good luck. Bert
