Johnson 115 Lower Unit Water Pump Tube

I have a Johnson Ocean Pro 115 that I'm replacing the impeller. Upon removal and re-assembly of the lower unit, there is a nylon tube that connects to the water pump housing going up into the motor unit. Obviously, this is where the water goes to cool the engine and exits the tell tail.

This tube fell out on my when trying to put the lower unit back on, and I'm not sure if you just push it back up in there so it's a bit firm, or if it needs to be secured in some way. There is no information at all on the web, and it does not even show up on any schematic I have seen.

Any ideas of how to find information of this tube?

Model # of the motor ?-----You are sure it is not mounted on the water pump housing ?

The outboard is a Johnson Ocean Pro 115 (J115VXSIF). I attached some pics. The water pump has an extension, and there is a hose in the middle unit that fits into the housing. I changed this out before with no issues, however that tube came out this time. I am able to push the tube back up in there to where it's somewhat secure, but I'm not sure if there is supposed to be some support for it.

It seems the extra long models have a different set-up than long models.----If I had the parts in front of me it might be easy to figure out.---I have some long models to look at but no extra long in the shed.-----Sorry.

There is supposed to be a seal on the top of the plastic water pipe. Also, make sure you have the correct length water pipe extension, as the XL motors use a longer one than L models.
